It is not often possible to organize inclusion of the centralized water supply system of a private house or cottage. Usually their owners have to decide on the autonomous water supply system of their homes. However, even if it is possible to connect water supply passing near the house to a city or village, having an independent water source on the site is not a bad idea, either from an economic point of view, for example, using it for irrigation, or as a guarantee against sudden shutdowns of the central system.
When designing an autonomous system, the first question that arises is selection of a waterpomp supply of a private house, as one of the most responsible and, if we talk about the quality of work and durability, the most expensive part of hydraulic equipment. Its choice is due to the type of water source on the site, and then to the chosen water supply scheme.
Ready-made pumping stations, technical characteristics of which are suitable for watering a small house for a family of 2 ~ 3 people or a summer residence, are more convenient for installation and operation.
Before choosing a water pump, you should compare advantages and disadvantages of their two main types. Surface pumps are stationary. They are easier to maintain. The maximum suction height is 10 m. Well water level, is no more than 7 ~ 8 m, taking into account losses in the pipeline and the reserve for lowering. Remember that they need conservation for winter for summer version of the water supply. Their work is accompanied by noise.
Submersible pumps require lifting from the well to the surface for maintenance. They are ready to work immediately after the steep. It is enough to drain the water from the system for winter. They are silent, this is perhaps one of the important aspects.
